Mahindra XUV E8: The Electric Beast is Coming!

By the launch of Mahindra’s XUV 700 in 2021, the company made a significant impact on India’s SUV market. Following its success, the company just came with its mind blowing electric vehicles: BE 6e & XEV 9. But now, on the platform of XUV 700, Mahindra has been planning an all new electric vehicle: Mahindra XUV E8, an all-electric SUV which is expected to be launched in 2026. While the company has not officially announced the launch date, multiple reports and spy shots suggest that this one would be Mahindra’s flagship electric SUV.

Mahindra XUV E8: What We Know So Far

Design:

The Mahindra XUV E8 is based on the new INGLO platform, which underpins Mahindra’s future range of electric vehicles. The design will be somewhere identical to its XUV 700 but with a modern EV-styling elements such as closed-off grille, redesigned new LED headlamps and an improved aerodynamic structure for better efficiency.

Powertrain & Performance:

Though Mahindra has not yet revealed the specifications, but reports suggest the XUV E8 will be launched with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup. The battery pack could range from 60 kWh to 80 kWh, offering a range of 400-500 km on a single charge.

Features & Technology:

The XUV E8 is expected to equip the massive panoramic curved display, similar to high-end luxury EV’s. Other expected features include:
